The inflation needle is made of double-plated chrome and it can be used by ages 8 and up. Inflating instructions: Check to be sure the needles is clean. Moisten needle. Insert into valve vertically using rotating motion (turn the needle into the valve). Place the ball on the ground or table after inserting the needle. After inflating remove vertically with the same rotating motion. All inflatable balls tend to lose pressure when stored. If the ball appears to be sort of deflated simply re-inflate it with the Macgregor Inflation Needle. Pressure should be reduced when not in play.
