Layaway Policy

Layaway is available on approved merchandise.

Customers must have an active E & K Variety charge account to participate.

A minimum deposit of 10% of the purchase price or $20, whichever is greater, is required.

Purchases under $500 may be placed on layaway for up to 30 days. Purchases over $500 may be held for up to 3 months. Purchases over $1,000 require management approval.

Merchandise remains the property of E & K Variety until paid in full and is to remain in store until paid in full.

Customers may cancel a layaway during the agreed layaway period and receive a refund of amounts paid.

If a layaway is abandoned or remains unpaid beyond the agreed period without arrangements being made, E & K Variety reserves the right to cancel the layaway and issue store credit for amounts paid.
